Committed Advocates for Good Governance in Lexington

The Rockbridge Taxpayers Alliance, based in Lexington, Virginia, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to promoting integrity, accountability, and transparency in local government. As the only county-wide public interest group solely focused on Rockbridge County’s governmental processes, we are driven entirely by a growing and engaged membership base. 

We offer a variety of services that empower residents to stay informed and involved, including a monthly newsletter, direct email alerts, and frequent community meetings where members can speak up and share their insights.

Our mission is to ensure that the voices of everyday citizens are not only heard but respected in county decision-making. Membership is open to any Rockbridge County resident of voting age who supports our mission, and it's completely free. By signing up, members receive important updates, access to in-depth issue papers, and invitations to community forums.
