The Rockbridge Taxpayers Alliance

We are the only nonprofit in Rockbridge County fully dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability, and oversight in local government. As a membership-driven alliance, we empower residents to stay informed and engaged. Our local focus ensures that every action we take serves the public interest.

Our board was formed by citizens with backgrounds in local, state, and federal government, bringing credibility and focus to our work. This experience shapes how we approach oversight and encourages practical, informed civic engagement. We lead with knowledge, not politics, and always put community first.

Since our incorporation in June 2024, over 60 Rockbridge residents have proudly joined our growing network of engaged taxpayers. Members actively participate in meetings, receive timely updates, and help shape our advocacy efforts. This momentum reflects the county’s strong desire for honest, transparent governance.
