We invite you to attend our upcoming meeting featuring Tori Brown, a candidate for the Board of Supervisors in the Walkers Creek District. Tori and her husband, Craig, are cattle ranchers deeply involved in the community. Both serve on the Board of Directors of the Rockbridge Regional Fair and Expo and are active members of the Rockbridge Livestock Advisory Council, supporting the Rockbridge Youth Livestock Program.

Tori is running for the seat currently held by incumbent Jay Lewis. This is a valuable opportunity to hear directly from Tori, learn about her positions, and engage in open conversation. If you know residents of Walkers Creek—or anywhere in the county—please encourage them to attend.

The Rockbridge Taxpayers Alliance (RTA) is hosting meetings across the county over the next five months in the lead-up to local, legislative, and state elections. Our goal is to give voters the
opportunity to hear from candidates and to allow candidates to learn about our mission.

  issues important to our members, including:
  The proposed county airport
• Siting of utility-scale solar projects in agricultural and residential areas
• Excessive use of “special exception” zoning procedures
• Increased county-level spending and borrowing
• Strong conflict-of-interest rules and enforcement
• Commitment to government transparency
